Ahhh! I had to laugh because I'm needing to get started on my sewing soon! I too had planned on making crayola rolls for my niece and nephew! They're great! By the way did you add a flap at the top of yours so your pencils don't slide out? Just wonderin'.

How wonderful that you are passing on your marvelous talents to your offspring. I am a pretty good cook and have sewing, crocheting and needle point skills, but failed to spark any interest in any of these crafts to my children. Rats. Keep up the great work Dana. :)

Wow! I have a machine of the very same vintage, but a sea green "White." It served me well for several years, but I hate admit that I happily upgraded when my hubby bought me something fancier. Your gifts are so sweet! Isn't Christmas just fun, and soooo busy!
That Kenmore will probably outsew and outlast many of the new machines on the market. I have several machines, none of them newer than 1960s. All sew like a dream. And easy maintenance...clean and oil. Your Kenmore is a gem. And, Oh! Boo simply must make at least one ornament for you to keep.
Girl you amaze me with what you put out on that machine!! I have to say though I truly love my husqvarna, and can't imgine my little sewing life with out it. We too have been sewing away. My oldest daughter gave her sweet boyfriend a quilt she made for Christmas and I gave 2 little people we love quilts as well.. can't say much more as my momma reads this here blog (he he he) so we will leave all that alone. Have a blessed Christmas my dear!!
Very fun, I just did crayon rolls and found that a little loop of FOE is great for kids who can't tie. You're little pillows are so great! Love the embroidary. That's something I wish I could do! All beautiful stuff.
Love the pencil caddies and Boo's embroidering is SPECTACULAR!!! Please tell her that I'd be DELIGHTED if I were her teacher!
