Yummmmm!!! Hubby picked a LOT of apples from our trees yesterday. I was thinking applesauce since my son doesn't like fruit pies (weirdo) and then I would end up eating more (and that would not be good). off to find a recipe!
My mouth started watering the moment I saw your pictures. Apple pie is my hubby's absolute favorite dessert. I made apple crisp this weekend. The first time ever. It didn't take long at all. I will have to make it more often :)
Wowser...I've gained a pound just looking at that pie!:)
Have you ever made apple/cranberry pie...Oh my goodness, the sweetness of the apples and the tartness of the cranberries....it's a Thankgiving favorite....quick hint...buy bags of cranberries this fall/winter and put them in the freezer then you'll have them all year round. We always have about 10 bags in the freezer...another fav is Quick Cranberry Pie....I think you would like it...and it IS quick!!!:)
Lucky you! The first day of fall brought 104 degrees here in the Inland Empire of California. Tomorrow it's going to be 107. Yikes! Enjoy your fall weather. (:
Oooo la la! I'll be there soon to have some of that goodness!
