Like a hermit

This week was so crazy, busy, run-around-like-a-mad-woman that all I want to do this weekend is hole up like a hermit.


The only thing that would make it better would be even a hint of cooler temperatures.  Crunching leaves under my feet.  Apple cider doughnuts.  And the promise of a halloween hayride.


The calendar tells me fall begins next week.  Here's to resting up this weekend so I can usher it in with the proper aplomb.

    Nooooo, I need it to stay warm a little longer! The trees are turning early and it's cold here! Seems summer passed us by again! LOL Love that crunchy feeling though :) Happy weekend!

    that fabric is awesome! i don't know it, but it is so..... "series of unfortunate events." great quilt, as always..... i bet i would love the back.

    must say, i am happy it is to be over 70 and sunny here today. the week has been cool and dreary, which i think we are headed back to tomorrow. i'll take it while i can get it!
