Finding my mojo

Seems I've reclaimed my sewing mojo.

Don't worry.  They are not for this bed.  They are for the living room couch.  This room just has better light for photographing.

I've never made pillows before but these came together quickly Monday afternoon.  I don't know what's up with me and the purple.  I generally don't like purple.   But I'm kinda diggin' on it lately.

These blocks are for Mommymae for A Notion or Two.  She's making a king sized quilt with all of the completed blocks.  Can't wait to see the final result.

And guess what!

I mopped today.

I lead a very exciting life.

  7. If you mopped, that must mean you're about to baste a quilt! Sounds like good mojo to me, too!
I've been digging purple a lot lately, too. I think it's because of the purples showing up in fabric prints lately!

  8. Love the pillows, the loopies are so frivolous and fun! The blocks are yummy too. You must have your Mojo back if you're mopping, will you be basting something soon?

  15. You sure do lead an exciting life - and, no, I'm not being sarcastic. I sit at work and (when I'm not too busy) dream about all the things I could be doing at home! My floors need to be mopped too.

I love your pillows...and the quilt blocks. That little daschund is just too cute!

  18. Ack...grey....I love it!:) Wouldn't those loopies be great on a purse?!! Gonna have to try that.

I've decided that I need another sewing machine so I can leave my darning foot on one of them and my walking foot on the other then I wouldn't have any excuse not to FMQ!

I vacumned the kitchen this morning...broke a needle, it flicked onto my face and I thought on the floor...came home from worked and sewed for about an hour and found it right there in front of me on the table! Phew!!

    So...is that Thing 2's bed?:)

  19. Great pillows. I love the quilting on them! I am so procrastinating making my friends pillows. I need them done by next week but my crochetting mojo is back, not my sewing mojo. Can you send some my way? :)
