I sew

While my kids are at horse camp, I sew.

I've even started another one.

  1. Awwwww .... That's my first quilt :)

I'd love to make another one too but it will never be as special as my original.

  2. Beautiful!! I remember how proud I was to be able to give my daughter "the first quilt" I shamelessly copied yours, using that beautiful Ginger Blossom fabric. It is still one of our favorite quilts! Thanks so much!

  3. So crisp and summery, perfect for the upcoming weekend =-) I always got a lot of sewing done while the kids were at camp or overnights, too. Just what I always needed to re-charge.

  4. This July I will finally finish hand quilting and then binding this quilt that I started 2 years ago with you. (It's spent a lot of time just sitting.) What's most interesting to me is how much I have learned about fabrics from stalking quilting blogs since then. I love the blues. It makes me want to make a new one!

  5. Dana: I admire your task completion! I keep starting projects only to be distracted a short time later. Enjoy your sewing time! Tricia

  13. I made one on the first rounder and it's a favorite -- I'll be making another one before too long - as soon as I decide what fabrics to use.

  14. I LOVE those colors!! Great quilt! I'm sure the owner will love it. I wish I would do quilting more often but I'm too lazy for that, it takes too much time and space (on my scrapbooking I should say to be totally honest LOL ).
    Have a great day!

  15. All four of mine were at Grandma's last week and I got an entire quilt top done, a embroidered present, and a pair of PJ's for my daughter done. To say the least I got a little bored without my four little crazies! The quilt is very pretty!
