Total Room Overhaul Part II


Back in January we began a total room overhaul on Licious's room.  This past weekend it was time to prime and paint.




Take a good, close look at this ceiling.  Now you see it and soon you won't. 




Of course Licious helped.  So did her sister.




And after a few hours of painting we were all a little wacky and maniacal.


But check out the brilliant black and white stripe ceiling!


And light fixture.

This week cork flooring arrives so while one weekend we had our head in the clouds painting, next weekend we will be on hands and knees installing a new floor.

    totally rad! but what to the cute little chandelier? happen to love them myself :) ceiling fans are pretty good too as they give you more floor space. can't wait to see what else happens in your room make-over. down here, in australia,
    black'n'white is the magpies (collinwood football team) so i won't be showing hubby in case he gets any ideas! enjoy your new room

    Love the striped ceiling! And kudos to you for being willing to allow your daughter to express her decorating styles. I was always limited to the comforter on my bed. :) Maybe that plays into my fear of decorating these days! Anyhow, love what you are doing.
