Oh, I've been drinking hot cocoa out of these mugs every Christmas eve since I was a kid. I found my own set at a thrift store for my own family. Love. I think my dad's family started the tradition so its been going for at least 50 years. crazy.
My Mom had a set of these along with the pitcher and I was lucky enough to get them. They come out every Christmas. I'm always looking for more and have added to the collection over the years.
I seem to find these periodically at the local thrift shop too. I think I have 3 or 4 right now. They are so cute aren't they? This year I got a rocking Santa that looks like he could be part of the party too.

ReplyDeleteI have one of these, but that's not a collection. Love yours!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that! Great finds. They are so charming and nostalgic. Once again, I'm impressed with your thrifty shopping.
ReplyDeleteThat brings back memories. I'm hoping I get my Mom's collection one day. I'm going to have to give her a call. :)

I have one of those too. Don't believe it has ever been used, just as a decoration.
