Both of my girls are in a local stage production that has it's final performance this evening. It's a musical. And it's hilarious.
I beam with unabashed pride seeing my girls up on that stage. Delivering lines with confidence. Being part of a play that is So. Well. Done. And I find myself equally as proud of each and every young actor on that stage. I know how much work they've put in and I want to grab each one of them by their shoulders and look them straight in the eye and tell them what an absolutely phenomenal job they've done.
Can't wait to see it again tonight.

ReplyDeleteYay, it went well and glad they all had fun.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing kids doing something that make them smile and beam and enjoy and that in turn makes the parent, the people in the audience smile and enjoy, too.
What a great thing to witness.
You almost make me miss going to high school concerts/college concerts. Almost. ;)
Break a leg, ladies!!

ReplyDeleteI applaud anyone that can get on a stage. I think this helps kids so much with their confidence. But, your girls don't seem to be lacking in that department. They are awesome!
ReplyDeleteWell done girls!
ReplyDeleteWay to go girls. Getting up on stage and performing takes courage and confidence. I am always amazed at young talent whether they are acting, singing or dancing.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about my daughter's plays. Enjoy!
