Sporadic


According to Merriam-Webster sporadic is an adjective meaning happening often but not regularly: not constant or steady.


Sporadic can aptly describe both sewing and blogging for me for the next several weeks.  And perhaps the last several as well. I blame the end-of-the-school-year-beginning-of-summer-dance that I do each year. You know the one I'm talking about I'm sure.  It leaves me spun out on the floor like I took too many spins on the whirly gig at the carnival.


But that dizzy-I-don't-know-if-I'm-coming-or-going spell will die down and I'll find my summer groove soon enough.  After all, my book is being released on July 8th and I've got some fun things planned related to that.  I hope you will have found your summer groove too and can join me.



Until then, sporadic = me.

    I think sporadic describes a lot of moms at this time of the year. I am right there with you. You must be sew excited about your book publication. Congrats. Take a deep breath and soak it all in.

    Such pretty stacks of fabric! I just want to come over and thumb through them. I bet that would be some kind of great therapy...fabric therapy. I love it. I think I am more excited about summer than my kids are at this point. I hope it will be fun for everyone, probably not much sewing going on though. Today was my boy's last day of kindergarten and he is thrilled to be a "first grader". When did this happen? :)

    Woo, only a month and a bit to go!
    I am terribly sporadic with the quilting at the moment. I have a product to deliver and babies to knit for (not mine!) and a garage that is 3/4 done... once the stuff is out of the house, then I can quilt!

    Congrats on the new book!! And I feel you on the dance--I'm wore out from dancing it and am ready to settle into a quieter summer rhythm. Well, quiet is a subjective term, but at least I don't have to get up and pack lunches every morning! ;)

    I occasionally lament the lack if an S in my name which means I can't put 'sporadic' in an acrostic poem of it. Lol. Totally applies for my blogging, and sometimes everything else, too!

    Can hardly wait until the book is out so I can get it. :)
    The beginning of summerused to feel like that for me when my girls were home. Now I have no excuse. Maybe I will make one up. LOL
