Of course, the afternoon/evening is filled with 3 activities, just in case there wasn't enough to do already. (I am SO sleeping in on Friday!)

Hang in there my friend. Keep your arms and hands inside the car until the ride comes to a complete stop. I'm with you. I shouldn't say "dread." I love seeing their choir concerts, field days, band concerts, awards ceremonies, graduations, et cetera. It's just so MUCH to cram in. We have church girls' camp and Boy Scout camp the week after school lets out, and then there's cub camp two weeks after that. I think I'll take a deep breath in July when I finally leave on a month-long road trip vacation. Maybe. I'll be in the van with 7 kids. By myself. Hmmm. Sound like a vacation? Perhaps not -- till they all spill out onto Grandma and Grandpa's front lawn and I can abdicate for a short time while they spoil them shamelessly. And I'm sure I'll be in the mood to let them do it.

Hang in there. This too shall pass (although I always say that some things pass like a kidney stone -- or a really huge, 10 lb baby).Jessica Christensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10787149198274991713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8909051016007644645.post-8202051735031092082010-06-01T18:24:54.750-04:002010-06-01T18:24:54.750-04:00It's just so weird to me that your school year...It's just so weird to me that your school year is finishing now. Our year finishes at Christmas and we have all that madness combined with Christmas! I can't get my head around June being the start of summer, really... as I sit here in my wool cardy, my boots, with the heater on! Do enjoy your summer... and thanks for the pics. I do think that time before school finishes is my favourite part of the year really, where we rediscover the outdoors.Deb Robertson Writeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08765205075437689979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8909051016007644645.post-72883579690360008552010-06-01T16:08:51.526-04:002010-06-01T16:08:51.526-04:00Dear Dana...you are definitely not alone in this w...Dear Dana...you are definitely not alone in this wonderful journey of motherhood!
