Win a Janome 6600 NOW

TIME'S UP. WINNER OF THE JANOME 6600 SEWING MACHINE WILL BE ANNOUNCED TOMORROW. GOOD LUCK TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.

So this is it. The moment you all have been waiting for. I'd like to think that the quilt along and all the giveaways along the way have been fun. And educational. And worthwhile. But let's face it. They don't mean squat in comparison to this.

I know things people. I've been to college. And around the block a time or two.

I've got my finger on the pulse of the human spirit.

You have been waiting for the mac daddy. And today is the day.

Leave a comment to this post for your chance to win the miraculous Janome 6600.

It is fantastically amazing. I love it so much that I missed it while on vacation. For real.

Some of my favorite features are:

-- the independent motor for bobbin winding
-- speed control lever
-- the start/stop button
-- the almighty automatic thread cutter!!! (can't I get a Amen on that one?)
-- extra high pressure foot lift
-- knee lift!!

Oh. I. Could. Go. On. For. Days.

What? You don't want me to go on for days? Hmmm.

Ok. Well, let me just summarize by saying that I love the Janome 6600 because it allows me to make quilts with absolute ease. Like this.

::Deep cleansing breath::

Leave a comment to this post for a chance to win the Janome 6600. Only one comment per person. International entries welcome. Contest will run from now (June 29, 2009) until next Monday, July 6, 2009 at 6:00pm EDST US. A winner will be announced on Tuesday, July 7th.

Good luck!

My quilt is finished because my back problems only got worse but finally today, I feel I am improving. It took serious meds and now looks like I might have to have surgery so this was not a fun time. Somebody is going to scream really loudly when they get the e-mail from you saying they have won! LOL!

I wanted to put in my comment for a chance to win this machine. It would not be for me, but for my mom. Her name is Stephanie. Her most favorite hobby is sewing and she is really talented at it. She has been wanting this machine for probably about three years, but can never afford it. She is an angel in her everyday life as she takes care of my little sister, Maddie, who has Down's syndrome. All her extra time goes to Maddie. I wish that she could have this machine to be able to relax and enjoy herself...she really deserves it.

Thanks for your time!

Wow what an amazing give away. This would definately make quilting a lot easier. I have four children and every school year I make each of their teachers a quilt with the class children handsprint on it. I've been doing this for the last six years. My machine is about worn out. I got in on the quilt along a little late, but am finishing it up. Thanks for the fun.

Dana - I would be so blessed to win this machine - I bought my first Janome when I was 17 years old and I still love it. My 11 year old daughter is using it to sew p.j. bottoms and fun little pillows for her doll. Reverse doesn't work any more, but this machine is a workhorse! I have a Janome serger too - second hand to me, but I love it.
Thanks you for making quilting less of a mystery!

I would love to win this machine! I have had a Janome 6500 for about 5 years and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to upgrade!

Beautiful machine. Quilting is a lost art in some areas. Would love to see it make a big comback.

I love the photos on that red chair. Oh my goodness, those are awesome. What a great chair, too, to highlight your work! I got to use the automatic thread cutter once... oh oh oh. I so loved that. I've been in machine envy ever since. (I have to jiggle my cord to keep my trusty old machine going these days. Lol.)

My machine is old and tired. I would love to give this 6600 a new and wonderful home. I promise to love and cherish her as we make beautiful quilts together.

I just wrestled with a quilt using my Janome Gold. Nice little machine, but quilting with this would be like HEAVEN!!

Wow! I just happened to find this site by chance this morning and I am so glad I did. Winning the Janome 6600 would be so amazing! Best of luck to everyone who enters. I know I am already dreaming of all those quilts yet to be sewn! Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity!

This Janome would be a reason to set aside my 24 yr. old Kenmore. Really, I'm still using my old Kenmore.

I've only just started quilting because I can't stand to throw away the leftover bits from my sewing! Thank you!
