And a scrap quilt gets my vote twice! I just may have to dive into my box of 2.5" squares now. Think the cowboy crew I'm cooking for will mind if I sew instead of feed them? :) I'm glad you've found bits and pieces of time behind the sewing machine during the chaos. May I be so bold as to say its essential? I know it is around here!
This is awesome! I want to do one of these one day too. I just learned how to do a really quick quilt using a charm pack and layer cake (or equivalent from stash). It is gorgeous Dana!!
niiiiice. i've been bingewatching the waltons/forcing my kids to watch with me... and granma walton made one just like that for the county fair... she could name which piece of clothing each square came from .... awesome!
Sweet Summertime :) Way to fight for the good stuff in the middle of chaos. Three cheers for you because it is even quilted and bound! Good job Dana! janita
Great quilt! Love all the reds. I'm making 4 patches from 1.5 inch strips and squares and enjoying remembering which quilts or projects the fabric leftovers came from :)
How on earth can you create such a beauty in such a short span of time, Dana? I guess I should come over to visit you and learn about your secrets while watching over your shoulder. :)
Believe me, I had to go look in my quilt cabinet to see if my 45 year old quilt was still there. It looks so much like one the blacksmith's grandmother gave him when we got married.
Of course, ours is pretty worn out. I used it for so many years.

Fabulous! Love scrappy patchwork!
Great scrappy quilt. I can hear my 2.5 inch squares calling me.
I'm drooling here over this beauty. You know how to start a girls day off right by showing off a fabulous piece of patchwork. Favorite!!! : )
Small piecing takes some time. Way to go. It's a Beaty.
Love it!
BEAUTIFUL! Do you make blocks first or make Strips? I have a ton of 2 1/2 in h squares just waiting for me!

Wow! Sometimes simple is the best! What a terrific quilt! I think Anita asked the question up above I was wondering blocks or strips?
I was soooo ready to toss my scraps....but this is a great scrap buster! Love it!
It's so sparkly! I absolutely love it. Scrap quilts are my favorite.

My favorite quilts are scrappy, and this is no exception!
