What would you say if I told you that these little angelic beauties like to play in the dirt?
Well they do. Like, for real. Totally.
Each spring a farmer friend brings his tractor down and tills our garden area. And, each spring the girls fly out the door to see who can get their feet in the dirt first.
Licious won this year.
And it seems Jezebel doesn't like dirt between her toes nearly as much as the girls. At least she gave it a try.

Good for you!!! When one of my childhood friends was little like the girls her mother would get her dressed and all she could do was sit on the steps outside so she wouldn't get dirty! How sad.
Oh there must be something about spring and little ones playing in the mud or climbing trees! Mine were playing monkeys yesterday with our wonderful spring weather!
It Looks like good fun I used to do the same sort of thing when i was small at my aunts farm in Scotland. That was a long time ago.looking at your girls brought back happy memories.
Hugs Mary.
I would say . . . Thank heavens they're normal! I'm soooo glad you let them enjoy that dirt. I really love how your pictures of the girls portray childhood wonder and delight.
What priceless photos! You capture their delight so well!!
Now that is my kind of fun. Can't wait until I can go barefoot.
I believe, I believe!! What wonderful photos to cherish! Lovely!
Such beautiful, beautiful pictures. I can almost hear the laughter!

Ohh that looks like fantastic fun!!
This is hilarious. My girls would have loved that. I am just not a big fan of digging the dirt out from under their fingernails. :)
Yay! I remember when my dad would till the garden for the first time in the spring, I would go out there and get my bare feet right in it just like your girls - so soft and mushy. I loved it! I love your pictures of your girls in the dirt - beautiful!
Great! That is the best playing therapy for children! It is so relaxing! If you don´t believe, so please, try yourself!
Chitter and Chatter are jealous!
Girls in dirt? Well, I never!!
Hallie :)
Dana,
Got your question about those wonky log cabin blocks...your blog won't let me email you. It may be something I'm doing too. What would be the best way for me to answer your question?
Jacquie
I so can not wait for my garden to be tilled....
