The coolest place on earth

Boo spent a week at the absolute coolest place on earth. A place I could set up residence and never, ever leave. Nope. Never leave. Yep. It is that cool. And beautiful. And peaceful. And inspiring.

The John C. Campbell Folk School has a week each summer just for kids.

To read about the week for kids go here.

To watch a PBS documentary about this special school go here.

Ok. I know! How about we all sign up for a week stay together?

This is a beautiful and very inspirational place! Everyone owes themselves a trip at least once. Sign me up whenever you are ready to fill up a bus.

What a cool place!!! I want to go there too! Why is it so far away?! I did read, that it is based on the Danish folkehøjskole... But as far as I know, we don't have anything with as many different classes as they have here.... not all of it in one place.

I have taken classes at JCC twice, and I can hardly wait to go back. My DH took an advance blacksmith class there and he will also go again. Maybe next year.

The setting, the food, the classes, the housing and music is so rewarding!

Save me a seat on the bus!
