On your marks

Razor/Dad loves to race and this weekend the girls could race too.

Razor/Dad warms up.

Boo and Licious warm up too.

We're happy to see him in the front of the pack. But really, we're happy to see him cause it means that the real race starts soon.

On your marks. Get set. GO!!

Now in this last shot I'm unclear as to what Boo may be thinking. She is either
a) tired and squinting her eyes to see the finish line;
b) mad cause another girl beat her to the finish line; or
c) disgusted that I'm blocking her path with my camera.

My money is on option C.

How exciting the girls got to race too. You made me nostalgic for my high school running days. I want to go for a run now.

OMGoodness!!!! yea girls! OH! how cute and wonderful!!!
Dana, in January, I started on a journey. I have been so happy with how my journey has gone, but my most favorite part of it all is how it has effected me and especially my kids! This summer, we ran our first race TOGETHER as a family! I was Thrilled! and then my son ran a second one withme. What a JOY it is for me to see your beautiful babies enjoying a day with their mom & dad, running.
BEAUTIFUL!!! Go girls go! yea!

Boo knows how to accessorize for a race! She runs well and looks good doing it!

I love that you guys have this insane commitment to physical fitness! Your husband's midnight wilderness treks sound so cool (in theory!).

Oh how I love a good race day! So much excitement! What a great way for the kids to feel involved too. I love that I could pick out your one daughter by the cute "dana-made" headband!

I also love Monday mornings and all the new blog posts to read!

The girls are too cute and I love the little guy to the left of Boo in the first picture ~ he looks like he is out to annihilate the competition!! 8-D

And you?? Oh yeah, I'll bet you were waiting at the finish line with a brand new jar of peanut butter for each. :)
