Small snippets

I've spent the last couple of days getting my new sewing area in order. But I have also had to get a personal matter in order as well.

I'm shouting from the roof tops . . . MY PARENTS ARE THE BEST!! Thank you for teaching me the difference between right and wrong. Thank you for supporting me unconditionally. Thank you for encouraging and believing in me.

And, thank you for loving me no matter what.

You do have great parents! I remember Dan being amazed at your wedding by how well they all get along. Not the same for his family...

Where is your sewing room in your house? Working by a window will be nice! As if I know anything about sewing...

I love your new area Dana! It looks so cute! I love your sewing machine too. Well I can honestly say not actually knowing you except from here that you must have fabulous parents because they raised such an amazing, generous and talented daughter. You help to brighten my day everytime I read your blog.

We just spent the day with my parents... would never have thought that we'd be "friends" with them like we are... but they are the best!

And, yes, your space is lovely! I know it will inspire many good things!

Blessings, Kimberly

love that blue. (it's like what i want to paint my breezeway) still drooling over your sewing machine and now all those neat incredible piles (are they bundled with selvedge?) of dreamy fabric! it's too much! i should post a pic of my sewing area, so you could see my "organization" hahaha!! oh, and i could shout from the rooftops over my parents as well. it is amazing to me how much i feel that as i get older. i hope, above almost anything, that my kids will feel the same when they are adults. thanks for sharing those pictures!

What are you planning for that delicious fat quarter stack of 1974? I have a 1974 jelly roll waiting for something. I was born in 1974 so I HAD to buy some despite my husband rolling his eyes at that logic!
