Pretty quilts for the break

The girls and I are headed out for spring break. Razor is staying home and working on a few projects . . . I believe a tree house is in the works.

This is my first king sized quilt.

And this one is the long awaited quilt for Papa's 60th birthday. That was in January. Better late than never, right?

I'll be back in a week with new photos and stories and memories. And some big things on the horizon.

  1. Great quilts, Dana, a gift is never late, is my motto. Happy Easter to ya! Looking forward to pictures of the Easter egg hunt and maybe some Easter dresses.

  4. Is that first quilt inspired by the one in the book you posted the other day? I have plans to make the same one (with squares of bright fabrics instead of rectangles.) I love it!

  5. They are both fantastic! And you are not alone in the "belated presents" department... my sister and I both owe one another a scarf from this past holiday season :)

  20. Simply beautiful! I love, love, love the white with brights brick road style. I just looked at your fairland posts, too. Girls are so sweet. We have quite a few fairy "houses" around our yard. You have been busy... so jealous that you have a green house. I hope you're having an awesome vacation.

Man, you can crank these babies out...every time I visit your blog, you've finished another 2 or 3. Oh, how I wish you lived next door and insisted on making lovely gifts for your neighbors :)
