That quilt is beautiful! It reminds me that I need to carve out some time to clean and get a quilt to the quilter, it was a gift from my Mom many years ago and all the ties came out. Time to fix it because I don't have nearly enough finished quilts in my house.

I'm so glad you posted this picture of your quilt because they are the fabrics that I've had on hand and are dying to use for this sew along! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Oh Dana!
I would have trouble letting go too. Lucky friend though!

I have a quilt along question...
what size will the final quilt be?

That is a lovely quilt.
I have just ordered my fabrics for the quilt along - they will be here on Weds or Thursday - I am going bright in spring greens and oranges. Can not wait to start !

Quilts become like friends because we get to know them so well as we make them. I think that's why we miss them when they go on to a new home. Hopefully, like friends, we can go and visit them! LOL!!

I LOVE the daisy chain quilt!

I almost have all my fabric ready!
I had to order some of the flights of fancy that I wanted. I am proud of myself, I am going to cut into some of my favoritest vintage fabrics for it!

that quilt is so lovely, dana! can't wait to see what you do with the flight of fancy stuff. i'm not going to enter, largely because i don't have the time or the material hanging around to commit to participate, BUT i am still super excited about all of it because i get a quilting 101 session with you every week :-)

Hi Dana,
Can I sign up for the quilt along? I have a six week old baby and am going back to work in one week, but hey, who is gonna count how long it takes... right?
thanks. Now I'll sneak out and find some fabric in my sewing room. Maybe this is my chance to do a red and aqua number!

Beautiful quilt. I believe I am in love with white sashing. It simply makes every quilt pop. I won't be able to sew along, however, what a nice tutorial it will be for me.

hi Dana, I made a comment on how lovely your giveaway quilt was last summer (not for the olfa sets, am in the UK, just to say hi..). The screen told me the comment might take a few minutes to appear on the site, but it never did... So am trying again. Loved your quilt ! Excited about the quiltalong !

Can I still join the quilt along? I will have to work double time to finish at the same time, but this sounds fun! Can I still enter the drawing for the Janome?
