My entry for the
Spring Blogger's Quilt Festival.
My third quilt I ever made. All hand pieced. It isn't perfect but it is perfect to me.
I learned so much making this quilt. The hand sewing taught me how to get accurate points. And seams. It also taught me the importance of careful cutting.
It hangs in my living room. And I adore it.

That is a lot of hand piecing! What a gorgeous quilt. It has a stained-glass look, making each block really pop out. Kudos to you!
It's lovely Dana... and look at all those points to match! and that for a second quilt.... it's amazing and no wonder you treasure it!
That is a very intricate pieced quilt and it reminds me of a stained glass effect with the sun beaming on it as well:)

I love the one red square and knowing that it's hand pieced. I'd like to try that sometime. I love my sitting on the couch sewing time!
Awesome quilt. I can't believe it was only your third!!
That's fantastic. I started hand piecing too. I do think it's a good way to start really! I love your quilt.
About time! I was wondering when you were going to enter a quilt! Adorable...love the one red square! Yep...you should be proud!
Did you know that the store where I work has a Facebook page? Go visit and you might see a picture of a certain someone!;)
Very pretty! I learned to quilt by hand piecing too. I still haven't finished the top. The teacher had us sew all the block together, then left it up to us to figure out the borders and quilt it!
Thanks for sharing.

As much as I like the quilt, I think I like the story behind it even more. :)
