Excuses, excuses
I haven't blogged much this week. But it's not because I'm just sitting around. I've been on field trips (see last post), made bread four different times, cut the pieces for a new quilt (see above), prepared for a big show this weekend, taken girls to clogging practice in preparation for dancing at said big show, washed clothes, scrubbed toilets, vacuumed floors, walked dogs, had parent-teacher conferences, planted pansies, delivered senior portraits (see two posts ago), coached how to ride a bike down a super steep hill, checked homework, quizzed for a third grade math test, found a large wooden key shape at a thrift store for a Halloween prop, packaged soap for shipping, spruced up the house for company arriving today, and lamented the fact that I still haven't tried my hand at homemade bagels.
I'll do better next week.

you are doing MUCH better than i am! i have done the laundry and put it way. that is about it... i am blaming my lack of productivity on my super cute and chubby 4 month old baby!
Promise?
'Cause we miss you, you know.
Dang! I broke a sweat just reading through your list.
I am tired just reading that!
Send me some of that energy! I love that Oz fabric collection. Try homemade bagels soon, they're so good! And fun to make.
Life is more important anyways :)
You seem to be one busy lady this week :) Good Luck on your show this weekend!
p.s. it is fun to see what you post though and I do miss when you don't. But I so understand, for awhile, I didn't even feel like blogging because I was either not inspired to or I was just busy doing other things.
p.p.s. I am so up for the sewing summit, it would be such a blast to be able to meet up with you :)
I know what you mean....
Sometimes I think I should just sit down and wait for myself to catch up!
Care to join me?

You have definitely earned forgiveness for not blogging. Those school lunches certainly look a lot better then the ones we had back in the prehistoric age. L,A-
Isn't it so funny that you can feel like you have done nothing but if you list it out like that you have to wonder how many women did that last. It can't be me I did nothing. LOL!!
Slacker ;)
What! You HAVEN'T made homemade bagels yet!!! I'm proud of you for admitting that .....
Did you mention that you were also organizing a sewing retreat for your enormous flickr group?? I didn't see that one.
Wow! What a week - just a day in the life of a working mom, right? You will have to post about it when you make the bagels!
Ok, I'll stop whining! I have some catching up to do! LOL Glad to hear life if full, happy and fulfilling :) Hame made bagels ... now you're going to have to stop teasing us and just do it!
.....and just when...exactly...did you sleep???

Yowsa! That's quite a list of "to-do's". Lucky you, never a dull moment :)
I'd say you've been downright busy this week and have a lot to show for it! We'll look forward to reading when you do get back!
Sounds like your Super Woman cape could use a break. :)
Just remember to breathe and enjoy. I keep having to tell myself this...
My husband makes homemade bagels. Yummy!
Oh, my goodness, you are SUCH a slacker! Why don't you DO something with your time instead of lolling about all the time. (Yeah, I just used the word lolling. Like I'm 80 or something.)
I know how you feel with the busy! I just can't keep up now I'm doing radiotherapy and working two days a week. If I had kids, I'd be totally sunk - the cats are hard enough to cope with! LOL
