I can't show this to my husband though -- he already wishes we lived in the snow... this will make him way too envious (because I have a feeling those smiles he's sporting aren't forced). ;)
um, yeah. and he's a freaking GENIUS! okay, i have lived in snow ALL my life... feet and feet worth of snow every winter... and it has never occurred to me or anyone around me to use a cooler to make huge snow blocks.
dude, TOTAL genius. and you can tell him i said it.
Oh what a keeper! - LOL Looks like everyone won! The girls are beaming as usual, and hubby had a great work out and is beaming too! And you got a few moments of quiet - joy all round! (I imagine your heart just swells - hugs)
I'm showing this to my hubs so that if we have kids, I can explain to him that I'd also like to remain inside the cosy house while he builds snow forts heehee!!
How long did that take Razor to do? Yep, I do think you are truly and thoroughly blessed! What a handsome family you are :0) Thanks for sharing this made me smile!
What a great dad (and hubby!:) ) !!! I love that he used a cooler for the snow; what a great idea! I wish we got enough snow to do that here in CT...oh wait, I take that back!
he such a good guy and quite the cutie too. good combination. looks like the girls really liked their snow fort from the best daddy in their view. i wish i would of seen the cyber monday deal. i need to buy more of your soap. i loved everysingle bar that we traded for. now i need to decide what flavors i want this time and buy a few. take care and have a great week. we had tons of snow and wind. it was so beautiful and sunny but still barely ten degrees out there. i stayed in and finished knitting that second sock of my second pair. yipee for me. take care
What an amazing dad; and because he takes such time with his girls while they're young, they'll take time with him when he is old. Such a man for a father (and husband!)is a real treasure, indeed.
That is so great to see a woman praise her hubby. I hear too many women complaining. It is awesome that your hubby loves spending time with the kids! I love to watch mine play with my kiddo's. The bonds that they are forming are priceless!! :)
I just had to facebook this post - b/c all my northern friends all have snow... ;) Sure wish SE Texas could get some. We'd be in hog heaven for just enough to make snow angels with... lol as it NEVER snows here! well maybe once every 20 years...

And I hadn't considered using a cooler to make an igloo. :)
I grew up in the snow and I've NEVER seen a cooler used for snow fort building...INGENIOUS!!!
How funny!!! We used to make igloo when we were kids and we had snow back in the day!!! I am glad we got a good snow. Russ
