It's just like life to be sunny and 65 degrees at my house and snowy and hat wearing weather at top of the mountain. Who goes on a picnic in February anyway?
We do apparently. And so do Nana and Papa when in town. Without complaining I might add.
But like life, the view is usually worth it.

Picnic in the snow? I don't see Frosty! Just visited the Smokey Mountains a few months ago. Your photo brings back wonderful memories. Hope you had fun!

Finished my "Stepping Stones" quilt by July Neyemeyer. It really turned out nice, check out my blog to see it. Mark likes it so much he wants a kingsize for our bed. i have the papers and the batik and hand dye stash to pull it off. But I really need to quilt some more tops. I finally got one done for our bed, started before Mike died and i put one of dream cottons 100% wool batt...lovely.
