An actual before & after

I actually remembered to take before and after photos of a recent project.

Shocker!

I know.

Not bad for the cost of the spray paint and ten cents for the ceramic owl at a thrift shop.

Pretty nifty, Dana! Bet you could do that with a ceramic elk, too.

I think he looks much better in all his new whiteness. His new perch is perfect where he can watch over everything. :)

Awesome! I wonder if I'd look that great with a coat of spray paint...

Amazing what a quick coat of paint can do.

Love it. It's amazing how much a coat of paint can change something.... If only it could revitalize all those macrame frog wall-hangings we grew up with...

A squillion times better! Looks like something you'd find at Urban Outfitters for way too much money hehe

That is fabulous! Have to admit, at first glance, that owl was a wee bit freaky looking; he's much cuter drenched in white paint!

Oh my gosh! I just saw a big ol' porcelain owl at Goodwill today. I should have bought it and stolen your idea. :)

Genius. Simply genius. It seriously looks like something you made a pretty penny for from Anthropologie. I'm so inspired now. Bring on the spray paint! :)

I am loving all the cute things you have on your shelves. That Scandinavian platter is Beautiful.
