You know that Johnny Cash Song "I've Been Everywhere?"


Johnny Cash wrote a song called "I've Been Everywhere" and part of it goes like this:

 I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man
Crossed the deserts bare, man
I've breathed the mountain air, man
Of travel I've had my share, man
I've been everywhere








I'm ready to hibernate this winter.

P.S.  Sorry that song is now stuck in your head.  But, dude!  How many of you don't feel the exact same way sometimes after running your kids here, there and everywhere?

    I know what you are talking about. But my girls have found things to do in the winter also, so not much of a slow down here.

    aww Cash has so many great and wise songs! I'm definitely ready to hibernate but I'll be chasing a baby around while I do it!

    I took a grant writing class that was taught by the same person and he was awesome. He traveled a lot as part of the job of teaching grant classes. He would sing this same Cash song but with places that he had taught in, and he did a great job with the song.
    Lucky for us we live right next to all of the recreation fields, so we just walk to activities.

    I LOVE THAT SONG. Only I know just that beginning part and now it is indeed stuck in my head.
    I did enjoy the pictures. And I am ready to hibernate as well.

    I totally can relate to this song and the frantic life one lives with kids. Even with only one out of three to chauffeur around now, I still find it hard to keep up.

    LOL! My Mom LOVED Johnny Cash and his music would always be on the 8 track tape player on Saturday morning when I got up! You're right it is in my head now along with "I Walk the Line" and "Ring of Fire"
    Running kids is exhausting no doubt,but once they get their own car and drive - it's so different - very little time with them. Thanks for the memories :)
