Good days
These days have been so good. The kind that fill me up and, at the end of the day as I close my eyes and settle into sleep, make me breathe deep with contentment, gratefulness and pure happiness. I've been sewing big and small projects, perfecting my cake doughnut recipe, and working outside when the sun shines.
Simple. Everyday. Beauty.

P.S. I'm using the technique and free pattern from Westwood Acres for the hexagons in the first photo. I will share my cake doughnut recipe once it is perfect. The fabric in the last photo is Wee Wander by Sarah Jane for Michael Miller Fabrics.

I adore those hexagon blocks. Excited to see what it looks like when you're done!
Those hexies are so adorable. And the donuts look yummy to me. I will wait until you perfect the recipe. ;)
Enjoy
You are gliding through winter and making lovely (and yummy) creations.
I love your posts Dana. I feel a bit of your joy and fulfillment when I read them. You seem to be such a calm, grounded person. Your posts add a sense of calmness to my often chaotic world. Thank you.
