This year I've been making the Moda Skill Builder Quilt from Fat Quarter Shop. This is a February through November project wherein each month I make the blocks that correspond to that month. You can see February's blocks more closely here. March blocks can be seen here.
April's blocks are the Pineapple Blocks that I made in pinks with an orange center. The Moda Skill Builder pattern calls for three 8" blocks and four 10" blocks. And, as any good quilt sampler should, making those blocks inspired me to start an entire Pineapple Block quilt!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I've become a woman obsessed with making these super scrappy blocks. There's even a hashtag.... #superscrappypineapple .
I haven't looked ahead to see what the blocks are for May, but if the past months are any indication, I'm going to love them.

Love the pineapples! Of course you are making a whole quilt of pineapples because that's what I'd do! It's one of my dream quilts on the someday plan. Janita
Love, love the scrappy pineapples!! I really think the color variation adds dramatically to the feeling of depth in this block. So complicated looking but I am sure (with the right tools!) it is doable!
I started a pineapple block quilt over 2 years ago ~ finished one whole block. LOVE your scrappy blocks ~ it's inspired me to dig mine out and start again!
Beautiful Bella blocks and using scrappy fabrics will make another neat quilt!
Beautiful! I love all of your scrappy pineapple blocks!
Wow, your pineapple blocks are my favorite so far
