Enamelware love

I love old enamelware.

And I have alot of it around the house. Serving various and assorted purposes.

My favorites are the polka dots. I am always on the hunt for more. But not on eBay. Just yard sales, flea markets and thrift shops. Someday I hope to find an old European salt box. Well, that isn't the whole story. . .

Someday I hope to find an old European salt box at a yard sale price.

I love enamelware too! I collect light blue pieces and must have 50 or more pieces. Wish I could find some polka dots-I think they're so sassy and adorable!

i am so with you on the old enamelware... i use a large enamelware bowl and an extra large pot for all my scraps. I love those polka dots though... now i'm going to be on the hunt for something like that!

the enamel wear is great...polka dots not my fav but if i see one i will pick up for you. the peppers look great in the bowl. put them in a grinder and sprinle into food...they are just as hot, you just need to be carefull how much you sprinkle in. i almost killed mark...seeds and all. yikes.
still using my saop i got from you. narrowing it down to two scents i like the best for when i have to reorder in the not so near future. keep up da good work. :-)

There's an antique shop right up the street from me. I'll have to keep my eyes open for you! It's only open once per month. It won't be yard sale prices though!

Love the enamelware. will keep an eye out for a salt box at yard sale prices, and I'll pass it along to you if I find it, because I don't collect anything! :)

Okay, I lied. As I looked around at the shelves around my desk I had to admit it - I collect books!
