You know your kids are getting older when from the other room you can hear them playing with Lego's and you overhear this conversation.
Boo (turns 12 on Sunday): Can I have the yellow flat piece?
Licious (age 9): No.
Boo: Why?
Licious: I need it.
Boo: Have I told you about my Lego girl? My Lego girl really likes yellow. She has wanted yellow Lego tiles for a long time. May she have it please?
Licious: Oh yea? Well my Lego girl's sister just got the money to buy the yellow tiles and they are really special to her. Plus, my Lego girl has had a really hard life and was even homeless for awhile. I think she deserves to keep the yellow tiles.
Boo: Well, mine is awesomer.
Good one Boo. That whole awesomer bit was wicked.
I also know that my girls are getting older because they start school on Monday. Boo will be in 7th grade. ::Gulp:: Licious in 4th. ::Double gulp::

Next year I'll only have Omri at home with me. Gulp is right. It all happens too quickly. By the way, that thought hasn't caused baby fever yet, lol :)
They are all growing up so fast!! Have a wonderful day!
Be happy they haven't put this on their Christmas/birthday list as my husband has done: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13746_7-20092570-48/vw-camper-spreads-peace-with-lego-pieces/
Too sweet, thanks for that conversation! My 3 1/2 yr old loves Legos and it keeps him busy for quite awhile!!
Oh, man - that made my day!
The minds of young people fascinate me...

I knew Licious was starting 4th because my son is too. But Boo in 7th grade....that doesn't seem possible. Where has the time gone?
