Single Wedding Ring Quilt -- Fat Quarter Shop's Top 10 Videos of 2015 -- Win a $100 Fat Quarter Shop Gift Card!

Whew. 2016 already? I must confess it took me a few minutes (and a lot of hand wringing and knuckle cracking) to remember my password to log into this space. Though I haven't been tapping away on my computer keyboard as of late, I have been sewing up a storm. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that I've basted and quilted two huge quilts, bound one, cut 1,350 four inch squares of fabric for two separate quilts and cut out a third quilt too. I'm on fire!

In addition to all that, I also printed out the Single Wedding Ring Quilt pattern from Fat Quarter Shop and watched their accompanying video tutorial.  I love the vintage feel of the blocks and that they are made with half square triangle units and 3" squares.

I'm thinking that this quilt will be a scrap buster for me. I'm going to make a few blocks each month and at the end of 2016 I should have a color spectrum ready to be made into a quilt top. Scrappy, vintage and totally me.

Fat Quarter Shop is doing a big round up of the quilts featured in their top 10 videos of 2015. And to encourage you to share your makes, if you use #FQSTop10 quilts for 2015 on Instagram, every time you use that hashtag you will be entered for a chance to win a Fat Quarter Shop $100 Gift Certificate! The contest ends January 31, 2016 and the the winner will be announced on Instagram on February 1, 2016.  The Single Wedding Ring Quilt happens to be my favorite but there are nine others that are up for the making. Check out their blog, the Jolly Jabber, to quickly find links to them all.

I hope you win the $100!
