Gourds upon gourds

When we planted our garden last spring we thought we would grow a few gourds. Birdhouse gourds mainly but a few ornamental ones too.

These green ones are neat. I wonder if they will dry out much like the birdhouse gourds.

Yes. Like I said. We decided to grow just a few.

Oh, and there are still at least 75 in the garden.

I think it is safe to say that gourds grow well in our garden. Hmmm. Now what am I going to do with them all?

Sell them? Freecycle them?

have you seen the decoupaged gourd at Jane and the Ducks? I made one sometime last year, fun and cute.

Yes, they obviously grow VERY well in your garden.

Take a look at this super cute gourd craft: http://www.amishgourds.com/site/1278922/product/SNOMB

Maybe you could use them as an art project for your middle schoolers. Did you use all the pumpkins? Your garden is so abundant-it inspires me for next year!
