(**refrigerator magnets. What?? You don't make refrigerator magnets at Easter time? Well. Hmmm. What can I say? It was a craft frenzy. We couldn't help ourselves.)
(**Easter bunny bookmarks)
(**I tried to convince the girls that these beauties didn't need decorating. But they wouldn't hear of it.)
(So we dyed and decorated until every fingernail was pink, purple, blue, yellow, orange or green.)
(**And, today we are going to the local feed store to hold some baby chicks.)
I stumbled upon your blog and LOVE IT! I went through all of your songs and found a bunch I haven't heard BUT loved & added them to my myspace page. Please email me and let me know where you found the marble rock things to make your magnets. My kids would flip for those! LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog! It seems free spirited and natural!
Sounds like the perfect day to me. I just knew you would have some fun going on over here at The Old Red Barn. Miss the egg dying days. Thank goodness there is a grandbaby on the way!! Happy Easter to you and your family.
Dana, I guess you have a mix of chickens? Those eggs look like the ones we got on Friday from a lady near here who has an eclectic mix of chickens who roam all over her yard! We put them out on the table as a decoration for Easter lunch/dinner! Everyone was surprised to learn that these were naturally that color! They all wanted to know what the birds ate to make them that color!
