Artsy fartsy

Recent images. I feel like I should call them vanishing images since stuff like this is disappearing from rural America.

It's true...they're starting to not be around every corner, aren't they? They are also a lovely homage to your good photographic eye!

I suppose it's the kind of thing most people like to see, as long as it is not on their own property ;-) At least that's how it is here in Denmark! I love the photos!

Hey Fartsy, I like your artsy! I was just recalling with Tipper (over an 8 oz. bottle of "pop"/"coke" via cyberspace!) the waterwheel mill my grandma used to take us to every summer. It now sits in the middle of a state park that was named after it and still runs from the current of the spring it sits on. If we can't pass on the tradition itself, we can at least pass on the knowledge of the tradition ~ as my grandma did to me and you are doing with your girls. Maybe that's what it means to say "we're doing the best we can do with what we have"?

I really need to learn how to take better pictures. Can you even take decent pictures with a digital camera? Who knows...
