I found my inner lazy

We took a road trip this weekend in search of our inner lazy. We stayed at a favorite historic inn.

And skipped-to-my-lou'ed on the porch.

Well, the girls skipped-to-my-lou'ed. Razor and I sat and watched.

We searched for quilt blocks all around the square and found other nostalgic sites along the way.

Of course we managed to find some good eats.

We did have a reason for traveling to our favorite lazy summer place.

And it involved me pedaling my wares.

But we definitely found our inner lazy.

Wow! What a wonderful trip! I, however, would not have gotten my butt out of those gorgeous rocking chairs on the lovely, lovely porch!

looks like you all had a lovely time and i hope you sold plenty of your wonder stuff. i think my favorite is the oatmeal/lavendar, i think it is. it smells sooooo good. of course, i dont leave in tub or else it would mush out and mark might use it and then he would be in danger of getting bit. yes, i am a bitter, cant help myself. we went camping this weekend. kind of scarry getting up off bed, since i cant really get on my knees but was able to pull off, now mark wants to go camping this weekend again at glidden lake. wonder if he would consider just one night instead of two....

That looks like a wonderful inn. In the photo of one of your girls looking out the window, is that a chenille bed spread? I want one so bad! I absolutely love the old metal bed and are there hard wood floors and glass door knobs? I love places like that, they remind me of Great Granny's house.

Dana,
You are just magic...your words, your photos and the music you put on your site just touches my soul. It is all magic and I look forward to being there to listen to the music, read your words and feel your thoughts and touch your photos with my eyes. I love it even more than checking my daughter's blog, but don't tell her. http://9monthcountdown.blogspot.com/ We're back from the beach.

Wow, that looked like the best place to stay for a mini vacation. I just connected to your blog from another one that's related to my world (foster parenting) and I have to say, I love your blog!! I'm marking it so I can come back when my little one goes for a nap. Your children are beautiful; you are truly blessed.
