Breathing

This past weekend extended into Monday for us. The girls were off of school for the day and Razor had taken the day off to recuperate from the adventure race. So, for three whole days I managed to simply breathe.

Hence the dirty dishes after making . . .

more of these.

On one of our walks we followed the old train track that runs behind our house.

It's in no condition for trains to run on but we do see this guy every now and then.

Breathing is such a simple luxury. I'm glad that my busiest show schedule for my soap company for the year is over . . . for now there can be more breathing. And baking. And hiking. And giggling. And sewing. And cuddling. And puzzle-putting-togethering. And all the things we love to do as a family.

I am looking forward to some breathing room too...but it won't come until December is over.

Love the pics of the girls and started drooling when I saw pictures of the cookies again. I am now craving the cinnamon frosting~thanks. ;-)

I don't remember if I've commented here before, but I absolutely LOVE the "feel" of your blog. (I found you on my sister, Allyn's, blog.) Thanks for the refreshing perspective (and for visiting me).

Treasure those times with family doing family things. In a blink of an eye your girls will be grown. Time goes too quickly.

What a nice weekend! Your girls are darling. have I said that before? I think so!

I forgot to tell you that I made those cookies the day you posted them, and you were right about the frosting! I couldn't stay out of it!! I had to give a lot of them away because I couldn't stay out of them! They were a hit!

As always, thanks for sharing.
