The girls and I make sugar cookies every year at Christmas. Mostly because Razor's mother got Licious hooked on them a few years back. And because they taste good. Even the raw cookie dough is good. So I'm told anyway.

The cookie dough is the best part! (Not that I'm saying it was you! LOL)
The girls and I made cookies yesterday, 5 kinds. It was fun but who knew it would take 4 hours. We didnt make sugar cookies though (that is for the 19th) so I will get to use your recipe. Yum.
The last time my eldest and her gma made sugar cookies they only ended up with 6 baked cookies. Thats alot of raw dough.
Those look sooo yummy, the boys and i will be doin the same thing when the oldest is out for christms break, sugar cookies, fudge, oatmeal cookies (those are papa's favorite) peanut butter cookies for dad and snickerdoodles for me. That is the recipe i want to share.

mike is hoping to do cookies with the boys this weekend. am marking this recipe for him, in case he wants to try it! btw, thanks for the compliment you left me last week. (insert happy blushing) nothing like getting a little ego trip for christmas!
This comment has nothing to do with the sugar cookies. It actually has something to do with a bowl that is in the background of the fourth picture in this post. Yeah...the one with the apples in it with the fruit painted on the side of it. I have the same exact bowl! I found it at a great antique mall here in Indy. You and I are waaay too alike. It's just nutty!
MMMMM, on so many levels. Cookies, kid finger marks, holidays... MMMMM. Here's a link to some scrumptios chocolate yumm-o's.

What fun. I don't have a cookie recipe, but I usually make Magic Bars or sometimes they are called 7 layer bars. I have posted the pie I usually make on my blog. It is a Coconut Pecan Pie and if you'd like to try it you can find it here: http://anitas-bedofroses.blogspot.com so enjoy.
Gotta love that cookie dough! LoL! Thanks for the recipe-I am always looking for the best cookie recipes.

Ooooh, I LOVE cookie dough of all varieties! I made chocolate chip cookies last night and ended up not wanting a cookie once they came out of the oven because I was already full on dough. Bad, I know! :-)
Yummy! you are for more patient than I. . . I don't do the rolled out cookies :) maybe when the kids are bigger. . . maybe
Thanks for the recipe as I bought the pillsbury sheets for grandchildren to decorate cookies. They looked so pretty I thought the plate of cookies could make a cute Christmas card. It would say, Have a SWEET Christmas. Ha. Your recipe surely will be cheaper for us. Thanks. We have a picture of them on my blog.

I'm not one to have a lot of patience for rolling out cookies - but I think I'll be giving these a try. They look scrump-diddly-umptious! The last cookie recipe you shared was also AWESOME. Cinnamon frosting was supposed to go ON the cookies?? oh.
I ditto the snickerdoodle recipe. Those are my favorite.
We are planning to try out this recipe tomorrow :)
Thank you for sharing it!
Best wishes,
Rebecca

Enjoying your fun Christmas melody mix.
I've got 2 on my blog that I'd love to share. Aunt Susan's Oatmeal cookies and Soft Ginger cookies. Both are just fabulous.
