Adventure

Adventure racing season has officially begun for Razor. I've talked about the sport before but let me remind you that it is not a spectator sport. Their 3 person teams traverse 50+ miles of verdant mountain terrain. Biking, paddling, running, trekking. I get tired just typing it.

We try to be at the finish line of all races he does that are reasonably close to home. We bring a picnic lunch (or dinner) and find fun finish line activities in which to partake.

Oh look!! Here they come now!

It is all business until they cross the finish line.

And then they break a smile. Especially this time out. This was their best showing in the five years they've been racing this particular race. Tenth in the co-ed division and twelfth overall. Not too shabby considering there were over 75 teams participating.

Whoo-hoo! I'm so proud of you guys. And gal. Er . . . go team!

Awesome! I love a good race - and the festivities surrounding it! It's so motivating!

Maybe I'll go get on my treadmill now - or take a nap. One of the two.
