Magic potions

Sometimes magic can be made out of a hot summer day and a pile of recyclables.

Isn't that cool?! I love mud pies and magic potions... do you think that some of what they're doing is mimicking what they see mommy doing when you're making your soaps and scrubs?

Amen to that! Speaking recyclables...have you ever seen the book Recycled Home? We just purchased it and it is absolutely amazing!! Our recycling has expanded from just plastic, aluminum, and paper products to every type of material out there...and this book shows you how you can use it in your home! You must, must check it out!

my husband and i were just commenting that we shouldn't even bother having baby toys, our one year-old would sooner play with milk jugs and cracker boxes in the recycle than any "real" toys. love that imaginative play. :)

my oldest has been making magic potions lately, too. http://www.larksongknits.com/2009/07/19/magic-potion/
