Such a worthwhile effort. The quilts these children will receive will bring lots of comfort to them. Thank you for the information.

Just yesterday, I had a conversation with my husband that I wanted to donate one of the FOUR quilts I made for our baby (I got a little carried away). Your post could not have come at a more perfect time. I've got a completed quilt that I will be sending within the week. I sincerely hope it will keep a child warm this winter and make him/her feel a little more secure in this crazy world we live in.

I'm joining you!!
I saw this over on AmandaJean's blog the other day and have been working on 2 quilts to send in:-)

Such a worthwhile cause. I'm happy to be able to do something, ever so small, to give these little ones some comfort.

Dana, this is in my home town... and it made me wonder where you are from??? Did I find a local blog by accident? lol I'd love to know... I tried to figure it out, but I decided it was easier to just ask, lol

I have been wondering what to do with all the children's fabric I have leftover from the CPSIA disaster. Now I know...this is perfect! Thanks for posting and I
will add this to my blog, too.

you are all amazing caring and giving women. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes as I read all the comments. I live in this area and while I know people are hurting financially across the country, I think we may have been hit a little worse than some areas. The auto motive industry is huge here and I know or know of soo many families who are fighting to keep a house over their heads and food on the table. Thank you so much for being willing to give of your time and talent to help a few people that you have never met.
