ETA: April 2, 2010 Time's up. Winners to be announced momentarily.
I love Mettler thread. Really, really love it.
And when I was planning the second quilt along with the pinwheels I contacted Mettler and asked if I could give away some of their thread.
And they stuttered and balked and questioned more than once just who the heck I am.
But alas! I am persistent! And Mettler is generous.
For I am giving away TWO Mettler thread collections containing 28 spools of thread each.
Just leave a comment to this post anytime before Friday, April 2, 2010 at 6pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time USA. International entries welcome . . . as always. Two winners will be selected by random draw soon after the deadline. I'll even put together a prize pack for the person leaving the best/funniest/wackiest reason why they should win the thread.
Good luck.

«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 547 of 547I've never used Mettler thread but have heard wonderful things about them. All my thread has been found in the clearance bins at the fabric store and would you believe I still have thread from my home ec days all the way back in 7th grade in um *cough*1986*cough* when the sewing project was to pick a pillow to make and stuff and I picked a cute computer pillow to make? I no longer have the pillow (but I bet my mom has it somewhere!!) but I still have the spools of matching thread!
Anyone with thread from a 1986 home ec project certainly deserves to win! please?
Oh my they are so pretty I'm in love.
Holly
Thanks for being persistent, Dana! Now they do know who you are, LOL! Thanks for counting me in.
well, i never used Mettler thread before so that should be a good reason to win: i could use those great colors, fall in love with the material and never buy any other thread again!
(too pathetic?? oh well.. :-)
claudia.
I should win because my children leave me hanging by a thread... and I am on my last one.
Yay!
mybloggylifeATgmailDOTcom
I don't know that I have a wacky reason I should win, but I am just learning to quilt, and I am always afraid to try any color of thread besides beige....this would really pull me out of my comfort zone! :)
Oh how I love Mettler thread
Oh how I love Mettler thread
I have enough fabric until I be dead
But never enough Mettler thread!
And my birthday is coming up in April. With 2 small sons and a forgetful husband and no family in this country I will get no quilty treasures, so I must hope for a Random Number Generator to be my friend. Come on lucky number 404!
Thanks for the chance at such a great collection!
micheline.smith@hotmail.com
Oh, yes please!!
I'd rather find those in my Easter basket than eggs. :)

Fantastic all your hard work to get the Mettler thread to give away! A rainbow of color explosion that I would love to have. While we are having a winter that seems to not want to stop, all of those beautiful colors will add zing and joy to my quilting.
Wow it does pay off to be persistant. Very generous of Mettler.
Imagine the sewing you could accomplish with all that thread at your fingertips. Possabilities are endless.
Please through my name in the hat.
I'd love to try out and use some Mettler. While my LQS has Gutterman, you actually can't buy Mettler in my tiny Nevada town. That means that Mettler thread is 3 hours away (but we don't head that direction, we visit family 4 hours away instead). If I don't win this thread I may never be able to try it out (because I always forget to buy any when I'm out of town).
Why I should NOT win the Mettler thread...
1. I have a lot already cause I love it.
2. There are others who've commented that they've never tried it and they should win so they can.
3. I don't have any varigated and that will make me start several new projects on top of the several others that I have not finished.
BUT, I want it. I really, really want it.
Thanks for you persistance with Mettler! They know who you are now and are glad of it I'm sure!
I love Mettler thead
What beautiful colours! I've never seen Mettler thread before (one of the downsides of living in a town of 600 people), but I'd love a chance to try it. Thanks.
I'm finding that I need to up my thread stash. It's no fun having to run (30 minutes) to the fabric store to buy some.
As for the wackiest reason why? Well, I want to have to some on hand in case the doctors need it when I deliver this huge baby.
Is that wacky? or just gross?
People have said I've come unstitched = please allow me the option of putting myself back together with the correct color of thread.
Love those colours. I would really really really like to win a set! I don't have many threads. You could say I'm a bit thread bare!
wowsers
are ya going global?
maybe even to new zealand?
my auntie sent her thread-storer to my daughter the other day. it is three inch nails, banged lovingly into a piece of wood. i have no idea who made it, but i remember it from my childhood. and i love that my daughter has it - totally inspiring - her head is currently full of *ideas* for her first ball dress - mmm, sweet sixteen...
love and sunshine

My dastardly cat decided to un-spool all the thread in my sewing basket(as well as two rolls of toilet paper)and now sadly I am lacking any thread with which to sew my beautiful fabrics together....I don't suppose you would be throwing any rolls of T.P into the give away??? :)
I'm glad your persistance paid off! I've never tried Mettler Thread before. Would love to win this! Thanks for the giveaway!
Karen in NE Indiana
WOW! Great assortment of colors! I have never used Mettler Thread, but by looking at some of these comments I am guessing that it is the best thing since sliced bread! Might have to go out and splurge to get some for myslef if I don't win! :)
Oh what gorgeous thread - I would love to have such a collection. Lisa L.
Well I got a few reasons...
1. I'm new at quilting and well, I have 0 thread stash! So this would be an amazing way to start my stash off. Plus I have a few quilts to quilt and well thread is something need for that.
2. I'm drooling on my laptop looking at those beautiful colors!!! Who couldn't fall in love with such bright colors. They would match the walls of my house easy!
3. My husband would tell you it's all his fault I'm here on quilting blog and quilting. It's his fault I've start a very tiny stash of fabrics and he secretly knows I'm planning my takeover of one of the rooms in the house for quilting. Part of that takeover, includes needing thread.
4. Because it's crazy they don't know who you are, only one of the best bloggin quilter around!! Maybe I need to inform them of that!!
So magic number thingy....please please pretty please with sugar and a cherry pick me!
jenkinstobeach at gmail dot com
my store doesn't have mettler thread and I would love to try it.
As for why I need thread. I am always running out of thread. I can't believe how much thread I use just as a recreational sewer
Another reason I'm an avid fan of your blog...and flickr....you have such wonderful "connections" in the quilting world and fab giveaways! Thanks for the chance to win ( I have two split rail fence quilt tops ready to quilt !)
What a terrific give-away! Thanks for the chance to win.
Are those variegated colors too! This would be perfect for my applique blocks. Thread is like fabric you can't have enough of it. There is always the need for more as you need just the right shade! I will probably end up sharing the threads with my mom, who has been sharing her threads and machine with me for a while now. I have been slowing building up my supply of basic sewing/quilting notions. Good Luck to the person who gets picked because this is a great giveaway!
Good for you to be persistent. I would never think of asking a company for something to giveaway. I love the colors of these threads - it would end up - at least for as long as it lasts - as artwork in my sewing room.
Love Mettler thread! Pick me!
Not know who you are? Are they all living under a rock somewhere?? Really! I should win the thread... Why, you ask? Because Victory is Mine, Victory is Mine, Great day in the morning people, Victory is mine!!! I just found out yesterday that I passed the North Carolina Bar exam and I need to celebrate, which as all good quilters know, means I can stop obsessing about the stupid exam and the stupid scores and I can start creating again!!! My imaginary pet monkey and I have been stressed, and completely unable to make anything, other than small whimpering sounds, for weeks now! But now, with time, peace, and of course, beautiful shiny, colorful thread, Monkey and I can quilt, and quilt, and quilt!!!!
I NEED THREAD! Although, it is so pretty, I would have a hard time using any of it.... I guess I could overcome that though :)
I have LOTS of projects in the works, and this thread would be put to some very good use!
I would love to have this thread added to my small collection. With 5 kids, it is hard to make purchases for me. Good luck everyone.
What a great giveaway.
Why do I want to win, well the other day my machine told me it might go on strike if I continue to force it to work with only the boring off white thread I use all the time. She's dying to be threaded up with something pretty :)
I should win because i have only used the cheap thread and i would love to try the good stuff. I love your blog and thanks for the giveaway
I need this because I'm moving in May and I just need new things! because new house equals new things... right?
thanks for the chance to win!
Oooh, me! I also love Mettler thread, and use it almost exclusively. Though I'm kind of boring and I only use white, cream, slightly off white, slightly darker cream... (hey, maybe they should hire me to give their threads color names!). Anyway, your photo of all the beautiful colored thread is making me rethink that...
I would love to try some nice thread to quilt the quilt I am making for my mom! I've always used the cheap stuff... and I'm wondering if there really is a difference! (I'm guessing there is, since so many people say so.) Thanks for the giveaway!
I have never used Mettler thread! But I'd love to! I'd love to spread it out on my bed and roll in it before I quilt with it...
Mettler didn't know who you are.... must have been a newbie who answered the phone!
I'd love to win this prize!!
JoAnn
So beautiful!
I have recently had to move my sewing area into my daughter's room (she's 5) because A) She wouldn't leave me alone long enough to sew one stitch, and B) the camper I was using for sewing got mildewy and that wasn't acceptable.
So I went into her room one morning to sew, only to find she had unwound all of my bobbins into beautiful little "nests" for her Barbies. Sigh.
Needless to say, the bobbins and spools of thread are up much higher these days! Still, I love her creativity :)
I live an hour away (IN GOOD WEATHER!)from the nearest fabric store so I usually just order my thread online from JoAnn's and it makes me sick to pay the $6 shipping for a couple of spools of thread ~ alas it is still better than driving for 2 hours for a few dollars of thread! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have all of those lovely colors waiting for me next to my machine!
Wow! My favorite thread- I don't see how you can handle not keeping these for yourself! :) Thanks though!
Oh, I'd love to get a pack of this thread.
These are simply TDF. Thanks for the persistence!
Can you imagine these in plastic eggs with us ladies hunting for them!
LOL
Love your site...you've been so helpful! Thanks, mlflowers@frontiernet.net
This thread would be beautiful for the quilt just made, where you asked for thread color for quilting. The variegated colors would work perfectly. I love thread. I love material, but thread gives me inspiration. Great spools when empty too! You can make all kinds of things with them.
Cindy A.T.
What a great giveaway! As for a great/funny reason I should get it, don't really have one except to say that the closest place to get Mettler is a ways away and full of tempting things for little hands so that I nearly tear my hair out before I get my 3 kids out of there safely while purchasing thread.
Would love to win! Very practical. Thanks!
Oh this would be a perfect gift to win. I am just learning to sew and this would be a blessing. Please enter me in your giveaway!
Have a blessed day!
Sharon
They didn't know who the heck YOU am? How is that possible? Are they living under a rock? Ok, in their defense, they are probably buried up to their eyeballs in thread! Thread that I want! So, I'd be happy to help out and win some of that thread! Hehehehe!
I need in case I run out of dental floss....
what? no video with miss james who sings about you & how you need to give her some thread so her mama can give her a quilt.
...my name is miss james and i wanna win some thread...
gonna be a big hit that one!
These threads are GORGEOUS! It is hard for me to find good thread locally and I would love the chance to win these.. How generous of you AND Mettler.. Janet
How fun! Would love to win this generous prize!
Wackiest reason I need to win....I have a grandson who thinks he needs to play with my spools of thread. They come out of the thread holder and are all over the floor while I sew. These are more bright than the ones he plays with now. He would be learning his colors if he got to play with these!
you didn't say you wouldn't send the thread to Canada, so here's hoping that you will, but gee, more than 400 comments make the chances slim -- oh well, if you do talk to Mettler again, tell them i use and like most of their threads...
I think I should win some of this lovely thread because I never win anything. Well, mostly never win anything. There was that one time, about 18 years ago that I got a call telling me I'd won the Crayola Carousal. I was so excited; my kids and I would have so much fun using all those colorful art supplies! I rushed over to the store to pick up my fabulous prize. Turns out it wasn't THE carousal, it was A Crayola Carousal. Which was just a plain ol' 24 pack of crayons and a red turn-around cylinder to put them in.
So, you see, I really need these grown-up colors :-)
thanks for the chance to win!
p.s. it probably wasn't that the Mettler folks didn't know you, they probably just mis-heard. You know, A Dana, not THE Dana...
I just started quilting and want to start experimenting with better and prettier thread! Hope to win one of these :-)
How generous!
I have three little boys..ages 1 month, 2 years, and 5 years. Recently, my 2 and 5 year old got a hold of a few spools of thread. They literally unrolled the entire spools all over my house while I slept after a long night with the baby. All I could think of when I woke up is that my house looked like what I feel like most of the time...all tied up as I try to keep up with these little guys!!
I need this thread in order to combat laziness. See I have cobwebs in the corner but I'm too lazy and too busy sewing to get them down. If I artfully drape my decorative thread snippets on them then I'm "creative" and no longer lazy or somthing like that. . .
I love Mettler thread! Please pick me! :) I don't have a silly reason you should pick me, but I did just have to buy a new car, so my quilting budget (as well as my puppy fund) is now gone for the year. :( Gotta have wheels, tho!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Sandy A in St. Louis
These look lovely. I should win as I promise to use and not just stroke them, and rearrange them and reorganise them and talk to them (well at least not to all of them!)
Wow there's over 460 comments....
Glad you are having this great giveaway, good for you for being persistant!
I love good quality thread.
fantastic! Nice thread is definitely something worthwhile, and I would love it!
Lovely thread and a generous idea - thank you!
I've never tried Mettler thread, but would love a chance to discover this brand. Only I am afraid I would put them on a shelf for a while and just admire them, they just look so yummy!
What a wonderful giveaway. Liek everyone else I can't believe Mettler didn't know who you were.. I mean heck I think half the quilting ladies that shop in my local Joann's knows who you are...since those just starting out have questions I always suggest your blog and quilt a longs. Sure helped me get started. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Ooohhh....that thread looks SO pretty! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!
I'd love more thread. Just another thing for my husband to shake his head at me about. He loves seeing my sewing collection.
I LOVE Mettler thread, too. I own several for machine embroidery, but I NEED some for my everyday sewing. Thanks for this giveaway!

You mean they didn't know who you were? Don't they keep up with this sort of thing?
I would love me some Mettler!
What a great prize. I am way too cheap on a normal basis and it would be nice to have some high quality thread. Thanks for the chance to win.
I told my hubby about a recent quilt show visit and how I fell in love with a small wall quilt done with thread painting. After he figured out that it did not mean using small bundles of thread tied to a stick as a paintbrush, he stated that he wanted me to learn... so that I could do a thread painted Elvis on velvet!!! I do believe this thread would do the trick! Uh-huhn-huh.
If they didnt know who you are, Im sure they do now!
I hope I win those spools, I'm a college student and a mother, so my crafting budget is no-existent :(
It's gray and gloomy here (where oh where is spring?!!) and I need a rainbow -- a thread rainbow in my sewing corner would be perfect!
Happy Easter!
All that thread just makes me think of all the things I could be making with them. How fun that you could convince them to let you do this.
Amazing that they didn't know who you are, but i have never heard of their thread either, so it would be cook to win and try it out. i haven't seen it anywhere around here....thanks for blogging, i enjoy reading!
Hello
I think I should have the thread
Because my mother said
Hey you put this together
So life will be better.
But how can I
Without the apple of my eye,
My quilting thread!
I'd love to win
Thanks
Xanthi
Hello
I think I should have that thread
Because my mama said
Hey sew that together
To make your life better
But how can I
I have no money to buy
such wonderful thread
without which, i might be dead.
Thanks
Xanthi
AAAAhhhhh!! What a fabulous giveaway! I have never used Mettler thread, but hey this would give me 28 chances try it!:)
Wow, that IS generous! I have several spools of their thread, but nothing like THIS collection! Thanks for the giveaway!
Love the thread! So do my 3 children- especially my toddler. I want to say that I would use it to tie them up but then child protection services would track me down. And I am actually a good mother and only use duck tape. Totally Kidding!!!!!!!!!! I would use the thread to harness the sun. Its been so so so rainy on the east coast.
Awesome giveaway DANA!! It isn't easy to find the 'good stuff' around here without driving 50 miles :(
I have every intention of tying my kids up with that beautiful thread and sticking them in the closet :) Of course I will give them a box of cereal so they don't get hungry. At least until I can get a project or two done :)
(you know I'm just kidding right...maybe)
I LOVE Mettler thread! I NEVER win raffles or giveaways...I'm just unlucky that way. But amazingly I won the raffle at my quilt club last week. I'm hoping for continued good luck.
I'm addicted to thread, and fabric, and quilting and blogs about thread, fabric and quilting. Thanks for a great blog!
I love Mettler thread. Thank you for the chance to win some.
I would love to win the thread - and here's why - my husband keeps stealing my good thread to use to make smudge sticks ( a native american thing - he cuts my old herb plants, bundles them together and then wraps them with my (good) variagated thread!) If I had a beautiful box like this I could label it - no husbands allowed & hide it!!!
yay for a giveaway!!!
thread thread thread
its better than bread bread bread
(whatever...i just really want to win it!)
HAPPY EASTER!!!
What a great giveaway and good for you, hanging in there. Mettler now has free advertising.
Thank you for this chance to have Mettler thread. My sewing machine loves this thread. What beautiful colours!
The thread in my stash could use some new friends.
I "know" you or your blog - and you know threads. Let's hope Mettler is in the loop now, too ;) What about this reason for winning: I don't report thread in my stash report, soooooo.... there are possibilities. Thanks so much!
A girl can always use thread! Fun to check back in after a couple of weeks and find a giveaway. Hope you're well!
What a wonderful prize! One of my readers suggested I visit your blog, after I asked for one of their favorite sites. So glad I came and look forward to seeing more of your blog.

Well no chance I'll win the witty post, far too much funnier and clever competion than me.
thanks for all the wonderful ideas I get from your blog, clearly the number of comments to this post show I'm not the only lurker.
cheers Shev
Wow! What an amazing giveaway! I don't have a creative reason I'd like to win, but I haven't found anyone around here that sells Mettler thread, so I'd love to win some and try it out!
I think you should pick me because I not only do I want this great thread in all those lovely colors, but I also want one of those really cool wooden spool holders to hang on my wall. I have a pathetic thread stash of about 7 spools and no one in my house thinks I should hang an empty wooden spool holder on my wall. By- golly they could just buy me enough thread to put on it, yes that would be nice. Thanks for the great give-away.
Please pick me!! I have such a limited thread supply! Most of my projects are sewn with grey!!!
Happy Easter!
Justine
Thank you for contacting Mettler about a donation and then for offering it to someone else! I also love Mettler thread! I hope you pick me!
OOOH! I need this thread to drive my husband even crazier with more loose threads and spools all over the house!
Wow that is a ton of posts. I think I deserve the thread since I am trying to finish up my quilt for my bun in the oven. I also am 8 1/2 months pregnant. Need I say more? :)
PICK. ME. UH. PLEASE??!!?!
Well I think I could use the spools as jewelry too, besides just sewing with them. I could string spools of the thread on a necklace that would then match everything I have to wear in my closet. And I'd also need earrings which I could make with some kind of a hook. And if it was a very formal party I'd make longer chandelier earrings that would sparkle in the candle light every time I moved. Just have to be careful not to get to close to the candles or I'd loose my one of a kind look. I'm even thinking hair do-dads for my daughter. Then we could have matching jewerly. Wouldn't we be a show stopper??
I have never used Metler thread but have only heard good things about it. I would love to give it a go!
-carriechilton@gmail.com
oops, I just reread how how comment was sposed to be funny. Well, there is nothing funny about it, but I buy my thread at Wal-Mart. :) I have a hard time buying stuff on-line because my identity got stolen when I did it 2 years ago. And, well, it's my daughter's birthday on Friday and I have a quilt done for her, but I need thread to quilt on it. And, I WANT IT!!!
(insert rap voice and sounds here)
So let me win this beautiful thread
and you will save my quilt from being thrown under a bed
Send the prize my way
and you will totally make my day
I wanna win, say I wanna win
So I don't have to buy thread from the wal-mart bin!
509 comments allready! That nakes me no 510.......could that ossibly be a lucy number? Normally I like to read all the comments, but 500+?
I read comment one and two, then I thought better just leave acomment or I might miss the deadline!
Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway! I used Coats and Clark thread for ages and never realized that there was "better" thread out there for sewing. My new sewing machine tends to get all linty from the C&C, so I'd love to try some of the good stuff! I'd be sewing up a storm in no time!
I think companies should employ a blog watcher to keep them in the "know" of who is who in our little part of the universe;-)
I would love to have a box of the mettler thread...The colors remind me of a box of crayons & the endless creative possibilities that come within it!
Hugs,
Debra
I honestly just got home from the hospital!! Your blog was my first stop!! I was taken to the er with stomach pains on tuesday(I thought I was going to die or be one of those women that dont know they are having a baby) it turned out that my gall bladder died!
I love that thread!!
Libby
JOYOUS EASTER DANA!
Wonderful Giveaway!
Mettler threads are the Best!
Love,Linda

#514 is the winner!!! (I think that's me.) I know I'm going to win because if I don't I'll pout and make my husband grouchy and he will kick the mailman for not delivering my gift - the mailman will quit and his wife and kids will starve to death. And this is all because I didn't win. SO YOU SEE, I HAVE TO WIN OR YOU HAVE ALL THIS ON YOUR CONSCIENCE.
Marie - www.hummingbirdtreasures.blogspot.com
Oh yeah, I also love Mettler thread.
I would love me some Mettler thread. My husband and kids cannot get enough of my thread ends ending up on their clean laundry and bare feet around our house. Besides it fun to see the birds outside nesting and find my thread ends in their new homes. Lessening our carbon foot print and all :)
Such a nice, useful giveaway and would eliminate many trips to the store for me as thread is something I frequently forget. Go figure.
Happy Spring. Thanks for the chance

Happy Spring. Thanks for the chance
i love Mettler thread..... i stocked up on some the last time i was in the states..... If you send me the thread, i will share it with my daughter and then you will be supporting "youth-in -asia"...
Oh wow, this si wonderful thread! Put my name in the drawing!
Wow! You got the good stuff! Just love it~
Since I'm from Europe I don't know Metler thread but sure I'd love to have some. In more than 500 comments it will be my luck if I'm the one you pick.
Great giveaway! To be honest, I am just getting back into quilting after quite a number of years and this thread would be amazing to use - and there's a good chance that my thread collection has dry rotted.
Thanks for the giveaway! The biggest reason I can think of for having the thread is that my fabric is sitting in a storage unit under lock and key while my husband and I live in temporary housing (actively looking for a house.) Some seriously gorgeous thread to look at would add a little sunshine to the tiny little apartment--also occupied by a toddler, infant and two cats. We need a house soon or I might actually go bonkers!
I am hanging by a thread. :-)
Obviously, I need threads - lots of threads. Beautiful colors, to give me that extra pop for spring.

Those are some incredibly gorgeous little boxes.
Why I should have those spools... I need help being a good daughter. Two things you need to know: (1) I don't have a job right now and I'm squatting at my parents' house until I find a new one. Since I have no income, I get The Look whenever I bring something new into the house. (2) My dad loves yard sales. LOVES THEM.
Well, he thought he was being helpful and generous by picking up a bunch of thread at a yard sale. There have to be 100+ spools in the boxes that he brought home. Unfortunately, the vast majority of them are on unidentifiable or wooden spools. I don't know what most of them are made of, or how old they are. I'm terrified to use them, but I don't want to hurt my dad's feelings. If I had one of these incredibly awesome boxes, I could use them (quietly) and show my dad things that I made "with the thread that he bought me" because he would never know the difference.
Oh, I would LOVE all that thread! I've just accepted a new job, or rather volunteer position with Americorps and the meager living stipend I'll be living on means I'll have to be extra thrifty if I hope to keep sewing. Did I mention that I've donated all but one of the quilts I've ever made? :)
Mettler Thread? Fabulous stuff. Just ask my 2 kittens, Misty and Molly. They are convinced it's all just pretty dental floss with a roly-poly inside begging to be set free. They discovered there are wonderful treasures in Mom's studio just waiting for clever little paws to find. A persistent but gentle "goosing" of a certain Thread Drawer provides endless hours of entertainment. The best of which is 'helping' Mom clean up. Now Mom needs more thread...
So... did you know that during the Civil War, women of the south were so short on supplies that they had to scavenge thread from garments that could no longer be worn to repair garments they could wear?
I think I need to win so that I don't have to scavenge for thread as they did during the Civil War! :P
Great giveaway...love that Mettler thread. I'd like to win these wonderful, colorful little beauties just to sit and look at them! They'd be great playmates with my current threads.
Don't they know that you got many of us started on quilting! That means $$$ for them =)
Thanks again Dana for being an inspiration!
Oh and I want the thread too =) smiles
Mettler thread is great to sew with! I would love to win those to have a go!
pick me, not any of the others...why? b/c my family & I moved to a new house in december and my sewing machine went into storage (gasp!) and I finally have it back. And my new windows are naked as jaybirds. Can your thread help me? I doth believe it can! Happy DaY!
I guess I will have no chance winning with all the comments you already have got :) But I just have to give it a chance. All quilters love thread :) Happy Easter to you.
Waw! This thread looks gorgeous. I have never used Mettler thread, so I'll be delighted to win it.
Thank you for the "fight" you had to put in for securing these goodies for your readers!
A wonderful prize!
My kids would love all the beautiful colours! They love choosing the thread... And if my 4yo choses the thread - I'll be lucky if it matches!
Thanks!
Thread! Thread! I go through thread like **** through a goose! Thanks for the give away!
My goodness! That's a lot of comments!!! I'll give it a try anyway :) Kepping my fingers crossed!!
oh-oh! Seems like I'm about the 540th comment, never the less I always live in hope. Mettler is great, especially the varigated thread. I can count my spools of thread on one hand so to be a winner would be wonderful! It would also be my first win. Holdings thumbs and crossing toes :)
Dana, you're a genius to get such wonderful goodies to share.
What a great giveaway! We all like thread.....and this thread is SPECIAL. The colors are spectacular. I would like to win this prize!
I think I should win a pack, because most of the thread I currently own is Coats and Clark, and I need some good thread to use for myself, and I'll be able to let my 4 year old to take the spools of CC to string around the house as a deterrent to burglars.
My husband hates when she does this, but I LOVE it because then it's an excuse to buy more -and better quality- thread. Mama always needs a good excuse to go shopping!
i would love to win these beautiful colored spoons of thread. i can't think of anything funny to add regarding thread but i would like to win them.
Eeek! Cutting it close here - maybe the LAST comment will win. Either way its a great blog and a generous giveaway. Thanks!
Great giveaway! Good reason why I would like to win? Well, I've never won before a giveaway. :-)
just in time-I love mettler thread, too! hope I win...because beautiful threads make my quilting look bodacious!
Connie
