Officially tasted

Grown. In. My. Yard.

My yard people!

Too bad I'm eating them just as fast as they ripen.   Please don't tell my kids.

Tell your kids what? Hehe...

They look amazing! I don't blame you for eating them immediately. That's what I did with my cherry tomatoes last year... I'd eat them as soon as I could wash them after picking.

I'd be doing the same thing. ;) LOL Fresh from the garden is the best.

Mmmmm, looking forward to mine ripening soon too! Alas a few more weeks yet, the floweres are just going over, but hey, mom does the work, mom gets the perks! :) Enjoy!

Can I come over and help you eat them...err...I mean pick them? Strawberries are my number one favorite thing in the whole wide world to eat right now.

Yummers! I have the opposite problem. My daughter is the stealth berry eater here. She's 2. Watchout.

These look absolutely delicious! And what a bonus that you grew them in your own yard!

I'm so jealous, all I grow in my garden are dandelions!

Has to be one of the best things ever! We have a small 2x4 patch but I already have plans to plant another! Yum!

Yummy! I just planted seeds this last weekend, but no strawberries here...

I am so jealous, my strawberry plants are looking pretty sad. My broccoli is doing great though, go figure!

Gorgeous! Missing my mom's garden right now.

You lucky girl!

Your last sentence made me smile. I love it that you're growing such beautiful little goodies! And I'm envious. We have a little garden this year and I feel like I'm competing with the bugs on who gets to eat my tomatoes!

Keep sneaking those strawberries!

those look yummy! I'm a bit jealous, we haven't even been able to start our garden, it won't stop raining for long enough and it seems like the days it does My hubby is at work forever, lame.

I want to come steal your strawberries for myself :)

That's the best way to eat them and you've gotta make sure the're good enough for your kids!

i am thinking of trying strawberries this year. i love making jam, wonder if those topsy turvy dealy things really work. we shall see. very nice looking berries. i noticed i am getting just starting to get buds on my raspberries. iam going to sell part of the crop at a local farmers market, we just cannot consume all we grow and i can only make so much jam.

I have to fight the chipmunks for my strawberries. I have them covered with bird netting so maybe this year I'll come out ahead! LOL!

In your garden? Really? It's so cold here -- no strawberry would want to grow around here at the moment.

Eat a strawberry for me, Dana. :)

Hugs,
Birgit

YUM! You know, visiting you (even if it is only in blogland) always makes me want a house with a yard, and preferably in the middle of nowhere. How can that be?
I'll have to make a post for you about my neighborhood, it's such a contrast!

They'll think you're a terrible gardener, but who cares?
