Social media
I feel compelled to warn the kind people of the universe that I am full on entering the world of social media. For several years I just tried to pretend that it didn't exist. And that I had no use for it. And I kept trying to shake off that nagging feeling of being an old fuddy-duddy that didn't understand all this new fangled technology.
But, I'm now Facebooked up and Linkedin. You'll even see easy ways to reach me at those places right here on the blog. See at the top right? And over there on the left?
Lucky for you I don't own a mobile device that would let me be all Twitter-fied.
Then again, you never know what tomorrow brings.
Stop by my Facebook page and let me know ya like me, eh?
Cause I'm feeling a little vulnerable. Naked and exposed.
Eeeek!

LOL! I am in the process of deleting my Facebook account... But I do know your flickr, and it would be awesome to see you on twitter too!!
i got your invite from linkedin yesterday and am following your group there.
welcome to the dark side...
Looks good. I "liked" you. It's such a dorky term, I liked the "fan" thing better.
I believe I am the last person on the planet not on Facebook. I like you anyway!
yeah, I got the email invite from you - so what is Linkedin????
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
Thank's for forcing into being LINKED IN. ha ha. I check FB about every four days and I remember making a twitter account..... what have we done?
But you are so darn cute vulnerable, naked and exposed! :]
Hey Dana! :o)
I wish I could face book with you. It is actually cut off from access in my house! Looks like we will be blogging friends instead. :o)
Have a great night!
Sincerely ~ Tricia
I "like"d you on FB! I don't do LinkIn, though. Welcome to the new tech age! LOL

I like you!!
Thanks for the e-vites, too! But I am not as cool as you and am not on Facebook, LinkedIn, mySpace, or Twitter. It made me feel special, though.... :-)
It's all good Dana, you got some good support to back you up. Thanks for the invites!
OK, I just sent 1365 fan page suggestions to my "boutique friends" on FB. That should give a little boost to your ORBC fan page statistics! ;-)
I'm a recent convert, too, my friend. I'm glad to be able to follow you in lots of ways now!
i admit it, i'm still a fuddy-duddy. good for you getting out there though. you know i friend you anyway, right? ;-)
so happy to be linked in with you! Now I'm off to check out your FB page too. They are fun ways to connect with people, although I love blogging, and Twitter is starting to grow on me too.
I feel the same way. I've entertained the idea of starting a separate FB page for my blog, haven't gotten that far yet. I guess I'm still feeling a little fuddy duddy.
Hi Dana! I've been on FB, Linked'In, etc for awhile and i've been getting really confused and lost where I'm at. So I've asked Karen Clark a'la Online Mktg guru to do a webinar with me and a few of my online friends who have their own businesses too. If you'd be interested in joining us, I can tell you at this time it will be sometime around the 20th of June, about $20 and you will get a lot of your questions answered! If you'd like more information email me at: contact.thebooklady@gmail.com. You can find out more about karen clark at: mybusinesspresence.com or on FB at: mybusinesspresence
Hope you can join us! I love your website - and would love to grow with you!
Have fun with these social networking tools. Twitter has been fun this weekend with all the insights on #quiltmarket.

Hi Dana - the online marketing class is definitely on. June 24th (Thurs), 8 pm CST. You can email Karen if you want more info - she is in the process of listing the class on her website and if you tell her Tina Peterson suggested her she'll know what you're talking about.
Those strawberries on this page, look awesome! I'm hungry...
Yay you! I just "friended" you and "liked" you!
Looks good.
