Thrift finds

I'm on a bit of a green kick today.

And, my feet are clean, thank you very much!  Just funny tan lines from my sandals.

Oh those dishes are irresistable! Gradually there is a collection growing in my cupboard, most of them without lids, but who cares? I use them ALL THE TIME! In fact sometimes I think I do vege dishes just to use them :)

Loving the tan lines too as I sit here in my warm fluffy cardigan and socks listening to the pouring rain!

I just love to collect the old pyrex casserole dishes and loaf pans. They make me think of all th ecomfort food prepared in them by my Grandma. This was my first visit to your blog. Thanks for sharing!

We got married in 1976 and received for a gift a set of mixing bowls in the green design. I still use them:)

Ha ha, you bought my mother's bowls! Just kidding, she still has 'em. They moved into "the new house" in 1971 and there are still traces of Avocado Green and Harvest Gold here and there. Mixing bowls are a little like black shoes - you really *need* several to meet the basic requirements, and it takes a LOT to feel you have too many!

I am a Pyrex lover through and through. It looks like your green set is in mint condition. What a great find.

Nice finds!
And I thought you found a pair of feet at the thrift store for a moment - I guess you did but they were attached to you all the time!

Awww, I thought I was going to see green toenails, too! Do they make that color of nailpolish?

Love it! I have a small collection of vintage Pyrex too. I need to get pictures of them for my blog too I guess! I can't believe you found them in such great condition! Love the red floral platter ;-)

Yep. Pyrex lover here, too. I love the stackables for leftovers. Put the lids on upside down and three can sit in one spot in the fridge. Haven't used plastic in years.
