Unplugging

I'm feeling the need to unplug for a few days.

I'll be out looking for the sun.

Adventuring with my daughters.

Soaking up some of the last days of summer.

I'll be back here soon.

Ooo. I love all those sunflowers. What a great series of photographs! Did you plant them all? I was wondering what variety they were. My mammoths are pretty tall models. ; )

Those are so pretty. A few summers ago the farmer whose land is behind our house planted a full field of sunflowers. I loved it-so gorgeous. I tried to talk dh into planting some on his farmground but no dice. :( somehow corn and soybeans just aren't as pretty.

Oh you do take the loveliest pictures Dana!
Having some time with your girls....priceless.....sounds like you missed them.
Its good for them to know how much happiness and love their lives bring not only to you but their extended family too. Have fun with your special Princesses.

Happy sewing too when you get back to it :0)

Beautiful photos! I am envious of your (seemingly) slow summer days. Ours has been anything but. Enjoy the peace & quiet of being unplugged!

Love you pics. The sunflowers reminded me of a trip to meeting for work when I unexpectedly came upon fields & fields of sunflowers. They were so beautiful & best part of day!
