Crush

Simple patchwork quilts are by far my favorite.  And I'm particularly fond of this one.  You could even say I'm crushing on it.

Fabric:  Innocent Crush by Anna Maria Horner for Free Spirit Fabric

Binding:  Modern Meadow by Joel Dewberry for Free Spirit Fabric

Backing:  vintage cotton sheet

Quilting:  The Back Porch Quilters

Ahhh, thank you Dana! I'm at work and I just got off the phone with a yukky mean person and you made it All Better! It's beautiful.

It looks so cozy! It's a simple pattern but the fabrics and the quilting make it look really lush.

How do you make squares look so good? That's gorgeous!

So pretty. It reminds me of the one my mom made for me when I was a baby... squares with lots of color. Of course it's all tattered with no batting left now and I keep it in a closet, but I can't let go of it! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow!

I love simple patchwork too- it makes a quilt feel like it's meant to be wrapped around someone, loved because it's beauty you can use.

My order of Innocent Crush is in the mail as I type. Hope I can come up with a use even half as pretty as yours.

Beautiful! I'm with you on simple patchwork. Of all the quilts I've made, the one on my bed is my fav and it's just a collection of four inch squares. Nothing fancy, but each time I look at it, I love it more that the last. Weird, huh? I always heard that sometimes, less is more.
