December to me

December hasn't always been one of my favorite months.  As I get older, however, it is becoming a treasured time for me.  Sure there is the holiday stuff.  And that is all fine and well.  But it isn't why December is a favorite of mine.

Rather, December to me means cozying up, slowing down and soaking it in.  It's a warm, fuzzy blanket warming my soul.  It is moving slower and with more meaning.  And enjoying the process as much as the result.

December to me is like a feel good movie happening all around me.  Sometimes in a blurry, glowing haze.  And other times fast like a sled down a snowy hill.  A movie taking place that I am both watching and participating in.  All while drinking hot coco and wearing woolly socks.

Happy December.

Happy December to you too! I hope you get all the cozy goodness you are expecting. December for me means lots of Christmas music, delicious scents of cinnamon and spice, sipping Spiced Apple Cider with my family, and the knowledge that I'll be reunited with my mom and sis on Christmas Day! I can't wait!

December is: family. love and 25 days of Christmas television shows on family channel... (good grief Charlie brown!) LOL!

All time goes so fast... wasn't it Christmas yesterday?

Hot cocoa and wooly socks...what more can a body need? I agree, it's not about the frenzy, it's about the warm feeling, whatever the weather outside!
