Time is up! Comments now closed. Winner to be announced shortly!
I'm giving away this quilt. Because it is Christmas and I haven't given one away in awhile.
We waited a few days to try to take photographs outside but between snow, ice and now rain we just haven't been able to. So instead you get these less than perfect indoor shots.
The quilting is done by The Back Porch Quilters who are offering special shipping just for you in January. For any quilt full sized or larger, pay only $5 shipping. For the month of January only. Full sized quilt or up. $5 shipping per quilt. Yippee!
So, icky weather indoor photography means it's slumped over a chair and has that weird hump in the middle. I think you get the idea of what the back looks like though. And that swirly quilting? ::swoon::
I haven't bound it yet but rest assured that it will be bound and washed before I ship it to it's new owner.
I pinkie promise.
How to win?
Leave a comment to this post by Wednesday, December 22, 2010 by 6pm US EST. One comment per person. International entries welcome. Winner will be selected by random draw and announced Wednesday evening. Oh, and one more thing. All my Facebook peeps and Twitter tweeps automatically get five extra entries. (Cause the peeps and tweeps are there to answer my deep philosophical questions that plague me late in the night. When I'm scared and all alone. For helping me with important things like fabric choices and recipe selections, I think those folks deserve extra chances. It makes this big scary world seem like a safer place. And it is the right thing to do by golly.)
Good luck.

«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 490 of 490You're crazy. Do you keep any of your quilts, lady? But it's not that I'm complaining. Sign me up. It's gorgeous!
Wow! That quilt is absolutely stunning!!! How generous of you to give it away!!
Would love to win this gorgeous quilt....it is simply gorgeous!! The last handmade quilt I had was made by my grandmother. My oldest son even took it to college with him & even had it when he got married, so it lasted a long time:) I never win anything:), so it would really be something if I did win this:)
I love my FB quilting friends - have learned so much from all the free video quilt lessons - was able to make my first quilt as a Christmas Present for my MIL. As a Pastor/Missionary wife I love finding things to make that bless others!
Beautiful Quilt...GREAT Giveaway and I would love to win! I am a fan on your facebook as well! Thanks for the opportunity to win, I'll keep my finger and toes crossed. :) Merry Christmas!
Beautiful quilt! I can't wait to make one with a black border :-)
Oh, this quilt is absolutely gorgeous! I love all the bright colors with the black background! My daughter (who is 7) and I have been checking it out. Tell you husband thanks too, cause now my kids want us to do the "snow fort" idea. We don't get that much snow, but occasionally. Your work is gorgeous and it would be a Blessing!
Thank you,
Holly and Lily
Happy holidays! Seems like you always make the right choices. I have always wanted to win a quilt from you. I make my own quilts and give them away to friends and family. But winning a quilt from some one other than yourself makes that person and the quilt so very special.
Thank you

Dana,
I really enjoy your blog. It was because of your blog that I started doing some quilting last year. I saw your quilt-a-long and became a fan. I made 3 quilts in a couple of months and have plans for many more. I love your quilting style and I learned that you don't have to cut a million pieces to make a beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing all of your creativity and I hope you and your lovely family have the happiest of holidays!!

Very Pretty quilt. I wonder how you managed to piece the backing. Did you just use two fabrics down to make up the width of the quilt?? It's wonderful..
