Look who still sews

I know.  You thought I had given up sewing.

I hardly believe it myself.

But soon the girls will be out of school for summer and maybe I'll find more time for crafty endeavors.

Let's hope anyway.

Aww, sweet! The tail end of the school year is just bananas, isn't it? It's a whirlwind every day and evening just lately.

Love that fabric. What is it?

Today is our first day of summer vacation. DS has a friend over, so I've been cutting fabric for a summer quilt. Maybe I can finish it before school starts in August! :)

I love the colors! I find that my hobbies are changing, I once sew, then knit, scrapbook, piano... and then back to cardmaking and so on! It makes it fun! A hobby is suppose to be fun, in my own opinion! I wish you a lot of time for your hobby :)

Lovin' the pillow. I need to make a batch of pillowcases, just because ours are looking so slobber stained and dragged around permanent dirty.

I just want you to know that I am from Joplin, live in Joplin, and am sitting in Joplin typing this comment right now and I'm still crying after reading your last couple of posts. Thank you for reminding people that just because you aren't a bulldozer operator or a roofer or a tetanus shot provider, that doesn't mean that you can't make a positive difference in a crisis. You are appreciated.
