Is it me or did this make her look more grown up in a matter of hours? Such a cutie! Razor better start polishing his guns ;)

I wish I had braces. My almost 12 year old is months away from hers. 18 months from now we get to see the after picture?

My girls both got those cute colored braces. Me, I wore plain silver bands for 6 years. Yes, 6!

Oh my, she is gorgeous! I agree with Artfulife, there's an added maturity in the 2nd pic. I remember that time from DD so well...it was a longggggg almost 4 years, poor baby =-/ But she says it was worth it, and periodically thanks me for it... How time marches, eh?

Your babies are growing up!
Today is my daughters half birthday.....do you celebrate those?
We use to have half a cake and sing " a very merry unbirthday to you!"
30.5 where does time go.....she wore braces for 6 years!

Happy sewing,
Kim

My third child just went into braces in April...how is it this makes them look older? I hope she is adjusting well. Dana, can you email me so that I can ask you a question about how to do a blogspot header...I am so computer incapable. Thank you, Lisa

Hello.. I am glad I pop in and read this post. My little girl who is 7 is getting her top and bottom jars fix in the late summer. Thank you for the before and after pictures. Now, I feel much comfortable because I know her teeth will have big and sweet smile just like yours~ thanks!

I know what she is going through. I've been there, done that, times 2! Yes I had braces twice about 12years apart. Both times after my 21B-day!

Tell her to enjoy her milk shakes!

She's gorgeous. I wish her not too much pain as she goes through this process!

OMG... yes, we're headed down that road this year as well... I love the before pic and after pic - she looks beautiful, I hope she will see the value in the metal mouth! While I didn't have to have braces, my husband did, and it's become apparent that my daughter has his mouth (poor thing!) I hope to post these same types of pics when we get to that point. :)
