He's older than me.

Over the weekend Razor turned 40.  It was only fitting we filled our house with people, food and drink.

And I'm glad we took a day to celebrate him.  The him that usually works behind the scenes.  That ensures everyone else is happy before himself.  The guy that never makes a big deal of his accomplishments.  And really trys to stay out of the spotlight.

Besides, I wanted him to have a party before he was too old to remember them.

Maybe I should call him "Geezer" instead of "Razor."

I like the name Geezer! But, my little sis calls me that on a regular basis, so it's comfy to me. Glad you guys had a great celebration!

Haha! He's not a geezer!!! Well, maybe to you, but not to ME! I'm 6 mo older than DH...and let me tell you he rubs in in every year from March to Sept =-/ But, let me also tell you I get him back when he catches up! Looks like a great party...I love the runner under the flowers in the first pic...and that cake! mmmm!

Your guy sounds so much like my guy... mine's even turning 40 in a couple weeks too! He's the one that makes things happen around here! Happy Birthday, Geezer!

Yep, that'll be us next month -- my husband will be 40 also (um, not me -- yet). Crazy how we don't feel as old as we are. I swear I'm still about 23 in my head.

LOL! Hope you have a good ducking reflex! Sounds like he celebrated in style! 40 is actually a pretty good vintage. He probably still has a few good years in him before he forgets everything although I think men have selective memory from an early age.

Happy Birthday Mr.OldRedBarnGuy! (I had a birthday over the weekend too-on the 24th...but I get a few more candles on my birthday cake than you do!) :D

Happy B-Day, Razor!

That cake looks scrumptious, Dana! Be careful with the taunts though... In my experience, the one to turn an age last, gets double the torment they dished when it comes their turn. :-)
