Upcycle

I found two of these standard bed sized pillow cases at a local thrift shop and bought them for fifty cents each.

Cutting and sewing the one into a decorative pillow took less than twenty minutes.

The other will follow suit today.

Hooray for combining two of my favorite past times  . . . thrifting and sewing!

Love your flowers and the stars at the side of your house - you have a good eye for a great find - the pillows for your bed look wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Love those pillowcases! Such a beautiful, simple design. I am looking forward to next week when DS goes to art camp and I can thrift and sew too! :)
